Bandai 1/144 AMS-129 Geara Zulu

Description

As some of my watchers know, I used to exclusively model aircraft. I more recently expanded my horizons a little in an effort to not be as narrowminded. This is one of my first Gundam kits, and I gotta say, it was a very fun straightforward, if not tiring, build. But my love of World War Two weapons and history still got the better of me and this HG Geara Zulu was finished in a late-war "Dot '44" pattern, as found on German tanks during and after the Battle of Normandy. It is pictured with a Pzkpfw. VIB Tiger II of the same scale and camouflage pattern.

It's a cool model (quite fancy doing one myself), and your build and camo look great, but you need to work on your metallics.  On a model at this scale, you're better off painting the whole area in the metallic paint and then washing back for texture, with black or brown wash, rather than drybrushing, which diminishes the sense of scale - and has also left some rather unrealistic texturing on the weapon and extra magazines.
